چکیده
Recycling of spent silver electroplating solutions has been investigated via electrowinning and electrorefining in comparison to zinc cementation technique this research. Two different compositions transparent dark waste were used having the remaining contents 17.71 g⸳L-1 33.36 respectively. The as an electrolyte first step at low current density 0.015 A⸳cm-2. It was found that increasing time from 4 h 24 increased recovery cathode for both types solutions. optimum higher than 8 h, giving 97.5% 98.5% purity electrowinning. Through subsequent electrorefining, electrowon set anode, while HNO3 + AgNO3 containing high content 120 g Ag/L used. By controlling potential 0.8 V, crystal > 99.9% obtained. highest 99.11% when using obtained solution. Zinc however led loss precipitate form on metal surface, only 86.16% recovery.

Electrolytic recovery of silver from low concentrated silver cyanide spent plating solutions
Cyanide silver solution containing 200 to 1000 mg L silver ions were used for recovery studies. The nature of the silver deposit was studied using a Hull cell, and the current density range was selected for electrolysis to recover silver. A batch electrochemical reactor, consisting of a planar stainless steel cathode and platinum anode was used and silver was recovered at 0?04 to 0?2 A dm. The ...
